The power of questions – Leading conversations, engaging people, finding solutions
This half-day online seminar teaches participants how to initiate, structure, and effectively guide conversations using focused questions. The use of appropriate questioning techniques helps to engage conversation partners, gather relevant information in a focused manner, avoid misunderstandings and facilitate the transition from problem description to constructive thinking.
The focus is on different types of questions and their selective use, as well as on identifying interests, expectations and motives. In addition, the seminar teaches strategies for confident conversation management and the appropriate handling of various conversational situations.
The seminar is open to undergraduate and graduate students from all academic disciplines.
The seminar will be conducted in German. German language proficiency of at least level B2 is recommended.
